Orah’s water broke at 9:15PM. Her doctor, told her to go to St Lukes immediately. I joined her and husband, Ronen, there. It was after 10PM when finally admitted. We walked the halls, used the birthing ball, and kept moving to encourage progress. About 2:30 contractions finally started to show signs of active labor. Around 9:50AM pitocin was started to help her finish up her progress. Orah was amazing through extreme exhaustion and birthed her beautiful baby girl, Ella Shoshana Hannah at 1:45PM. She sent me a note

saying that although she had been so fearful of birth,

she is “so grateful and feels so blessed that you were

there for me. “

No one was more blessed than me!!

Tiffany, an Army Veteran and the wife of Matt, a Combat Medical Army Veteran, was so proud of herself for deciding on and staying focused on a successful medication free induction at 42 weeks! Her midwife, Christy, was amazing at assisting her 9 lb 4 oz baby's birth without any tears. Tiffany announced that she had no pain tolerance, and didn't think she could make it with

a pitocin induction - without meds. But she did it, with the

support of her husband, mother and doula, like a

Champion! We were all blessed!

Kathleen used her Hypnobabies CD continuously during her birthing time. She was relaxed and calm for the first 5 1/2 hous of consistent surges-at her home! As well as when we arrived at St Luke's Hospital just 2 1/2 hours before Laurie's birth. It was a beautiful birth and extremely well timed! She and her husband sent me a card which said: "...It meant so much to me to have someone who believed that I could and would have a natural birth. It was that extra boost of confidence that I needed to be patient in waiting for my birthing time....I finally felt like I was in control of my birth rather than it just happening to me, with all that I've been

through, I can't think of a better final birth to have...." She

was so thankful for her husband's and my support, but no

doubt God was directing our steps!

 Psalm 139:13-14

For you formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb.

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well!
